Setting Yourself Up for a Successful Editing Experience
We offer various editing alternatives. Selecting the best option should ideally be based on recommendations from the editorial analysis as well as your goals for your writing project.
Our editing process requires some level of involvement and commitment on the part of the author. This is how you maintain editorial control over your work, and ensure the results are what you had expected.
To set yourself up for a successful experience in your editing process:
Submit your manuscript in Microsoft Word.
- The editing will be conducted using the Word Tracking system, and you will need to have Word to see the suggested edits.
- If you are not able to submit a manuscript in Word, you will need to obtain the dedicated assistance of a friend, neighbor, or relative who will help you submit your manuscript in Word as well as accept and reject edits that will be recommended in the manuscript.
Be prepared to accept and reject changes on your edited manuscript using Word Tracking.
- Instructions are provided for those who may never have used Word Tracking before, and it is not difficult to learn.
- Note: We cannot provide editing services for an author who do not have access to Word because the author will not be able to see the recommended edits and respond to them.
